Dyslexia is...
A child or adult can experience a wide variety of symptoms because of dyslexia... difficulty with reading, spelling, writing, confusing the symbols of maths, excessive day dreaming or poor handwriting are just some.
(See 37 characteristics of dyslexia for a wider range of symptoms)
Dyslexia is sometimes described by professionals as ADD/ADHD; auditory sequential processing dysfunction / disorder; learning disability (reading, writing, spelling), ; phonic or decoding problems; eye-tracking difficulties; dyspraxia or equilibrium faults; lack of visual processing skills; lack of phonological awareness; and dozens more.
However, the underlying or root cause is the same for all. The main focus of the Davis Dyslexia Correction® program, which Dyslexia WA provides, is upon resolution.
The Davis® Program takes ONE WEEK and equips the client with the tools and strategies necessary for them to take control of their learning.
Working with Dyslexia WA brings:
- correction of the underlying cause of the problem; the symptoms can then be resolved;
- a drug free solution;
- a 97% success rate to achieve the client’s goals;
- a one on one program (individualised for each client);
- support training for parents, teachers and/or tutors;
- unlimited phone and email support.
